Who can pull off the most hilarious robbery?
The contestants:
Contestant 1:
Representing America and going after the Chase bank branch in Setauket, New York. This guy.
The Force was with a man when he robbed a bank wearing a Darth Vader mask and a cape.
Armed with a gun instead of a lightsaber, the man entered a Chase bank branch in Setauket, New York, about 50 miles east of New York City, on Thursday and demanded cash from a teller, police said. He fled through a parking lot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Verdict: Solid effort by the New York man who went with the always hilarious cape option with his disguise. The use of Vader, the supreme commander of the brutal Galactic Empire, was a very good choice. However the use of a gun instead of a lightsabre definitely loses him some points.
Score: 7/10
Contestant 2:
Representing America and going after a bank in Manhattan's Chelsea neighbourhood. Edward Pemberton.
Pemberton allegedly came up with a disarming way to pull off his latest bank heist Thursday in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood: he approached the teller's window with a large bouquet of flowers.
A security camera photo published in The New York Post showed the suspect standing at the teller's window holding the bouquet while handing over a note, which reportedly read: "Give me all your hundreds, fifties, don't be a hero."
After getting 440 dollars from the teller, the robber fled the bank leaving the bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums, orange and red daisies and gladiola buds on the counter.
He also left his image on the video camera, helping police to track him down.
Verdict: In an act that is reminiscent of one of Banksy's works
Pemberton's attempt was definitely a well thought out effort. The Lack of a weapon greatly increases his score as does the charming gift he left upon his departure. All-in-all a very respectable attempt.
Score: 8/10
Contestant 3:
Representing America and going after a bank in the Pittsburgh area, Dennis Hawkins.
Authorities say a man robbed a bank wearing a woman's blonde wig, fake breasts under a sweater and clown pants.
Swissvale police say 48-year-old Dennis Hawkins was sitting in a parked car covered in red dye from an exploding packet in a bag of money when he was arrested on Saturday.
Police Chief Greg Geppert says Hawkins robbed the bank at gunpoint, using a toy BB gun he had shoplifted from a store.
Geppert says Hawkins then entered a woman's car. She got out, took her keys and alerted police. Hawkins was found sitting in the car.
Verdict: The always classic cross-dressing gag was used to great effect by Hawkins in his effort, and the addition of clown pants was a stroke of comic genius. The lack of a dangerous weapon was also pleasing to see and definitely improved his score. His atrocious get away loses him points but over all it was a good attempt.

Contestant 4:
Representing New Zealand and going after the Victoria St TSB bank in Hamilton, This guy.
A bare-chested would-be bank robber fled a Hamilton bank as staff laughed at his robbery attempt and demand for 50c.
Police said, the man, in his early 20s, entered the Victoria St TSB bank on Monday with a bandana over his lower face and demanded $10, the Waikato Times reported.
When the teller said she didn't have any money he asked for 50c before crouching into a starting race position and running from the bank.
Verdict: Pure genius. What is not to like about this legendary attempt? Let’s start with his appearance; he didn't opt for an elaborate disguise, instead going for the classic and understated bare-chest look. His decision to go after a Hamilton bank was inspired as it insured that his robbery didn't inconvenience anyone in the important New Zealand cities and towns. The sum of money requested was also a stroke of pure genius and definitely intensified the robberies hilarity. The part that tied the whole thing together however was his escape; he didn't just run away, he took the time to get down into a starting race position before sprinting from the scene. And all of this without a weapon. This was by all accounts the perfect bank robbery.
Score: 10/10
